teacher & Mentor
My work exists to supports you to deepen your knowledge and acceptance of all aspects of yourself (mind-body-emotions-nervous system), so that you can live a more peaceful and joyful life. I teach a simple meditation technique that everyone can do and empower you to change habitual ways of thinking, feeling and responding to life.
Back in 2017, I learnt Vedic meditation out of a desire to escape the constant anxiety and worry that had been a permanent feature of my life for over a decade. I thought I had tried everything before I found Vedic meditation and was at my wits end within the mental prison of chronic anxiety. I deeply desired to get out of my head, improve my relationship with my body, reconnect with my intuition, get healthy and find inner stability and happiness.
Prior to training in Vedic meditation, I was on track to becoming a psychotherapist before deciding to go in a different direction. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and am Mental Health First Aid qualified.
In my work today as a teacher, mentor and retreat facilitator, I weave Eastern wisdom with nature-based, psychosomatic healing wisdom to educate and empower those I work with to deeply know themselves on all levels of their being - mind, body, emotions and their connection with nature and all of life.
It is my belief that we cannot truly thrive if we don’t understand what makes us who we are.
caroline holds a degree in psychology & post graduate diploma in psychotherapy. she haS completed MANY years of vedic study, INCLUDING three months of intensive meditation teacher training at the foothills of the Himalayas, INDIA, the home of Vedic knowledge.
A NOTE FROM CAROLINE
“I now teach Vedic meditation in Sydney, host meditation and yoga retreats in Australia and Bali and mentor women desiring to befriend their nervous systems, overcome anxiety and transcend limiting thinking patterns, habits and difficulty with being with emotions.
It is my great honour to support women and men as they equip themselves with the tools and knowledge to become happier, more relaxed and adaptable, to cultivate greater acceptance of themselves and deeper awareness of their inner world. ”
I learnt Vedic meditation after many years of searching for something to bring relief from the depression and anxiety I had been experiencing for over a decade. I intuitively knew there was a way to experience more enjoyment and less stress in life but nothing I tried had empowered me to achieve these states self-sufficiently.
Despite my skepticism, I felt the benefits of Vedic meditation immediately. As my stress levels decreased my sleep improved dramatically, physical energy increased, depression and anxiety reduced.
Daily meditation allowed me to create a stable foundation upon which to do deep nervous system and emotional healing. As the weeks and months went on, I felt more at ease, grounded, patient with others and accepting of myself. After years of experiencing bouts of depression, my mood improved and I started to experience genuine happiness and contentment.
Unsustainable behaviours, like my tendency to neglect sleep and exercise in favour of working long hours in my demanding corporate role, started to fall away. Despite working less hours my productivity and creativity increased significantly. For the first time in years I felt well rested and experienced mental clarity and an orderliness to my thoughts. Adopting a daily Vedic meditation practice put me in touch with my deeper, human nature, which existed beyond all my thoughts and accumulated stress.
